I think the Nomos Club is the better choice of the 2, more from a uniqueness and design standpoint than the movement, though that's nice, too. While you're saving up for the Tudor, .Nomos and CW are in the same tier, which is the entry level luxury tier that punches above its weight. For the money they are better value than the Tudor. The Tudor however is the tier that Nomos and CW are punching at. The Tudor will need another band, would look at getting it on steel and then finding a good nato strap. Price-wise, the Nomos Club Sport neomatik 37photographed here (green dial, sapphire back, steel bracelet) . Aside from the inexplicably boring over-hyped Tudor Ranger steel-block with a kid’s watch hour-hand I like them all and I am a fan of Nomos attention to the right balance between watch making and style. While Tudor has tended to make high-profile splashes with the Black Bay on an annual basis, using it as an experimental vehicle for new materials .
Both Tudor and Nomos occupy roughly the same market space in luxury watches, but they’ve taken very different paths in the watches they offer.
[Recommendation] Choosing a future hand
Hello all, My first post here WUS. I'm debating whether to purchase a vintage Tudor Prince/date just or a Nomos (Minimatik/Tangente). Currently, I have a Cartier Tank, Baume et Mercier Capeland Chronograph (early 2000 version) and a Jorg Hysek Kilada in my rotation. Now, I'm looking for. From a daily-wear and practical perspective, the Tudor is self winding and has both the date and the day. I believe it will hold its value better than the Nomos. From an aesthetics perspective, I think think the Tudor is a classic design while the Nomos is more modern.
Sorry if this question has been asked. I wonder what brands you consider to be Tudor's peers in terms of market position and quality. I believe most people consider Omega, Breitling, and IWC a tier or at least half a tier higher than Tudor. At the other end, Tudor is obviously a tier higher than Hamilton, Tissot, and Mido.
Doxa for me, most others are compromised: the 774 is a parody of the original (spring bars, snap back, 100m), the tudor is a joke with the amount of text on the dial, the oris is more of a skin diver, the nomos is nice but it’s hard to beat doxa with orange dials.I'd say that I'm the opposite, the 556a rs has it's own unique dna, while the tudor looks like every other generic tudor, which is just an homage brand to Rolex. The tag does seem more interesting than the tudor thought, it'd make a better every day watch with the day/date feature as well.

I like both the vintage looks on the Tudor and the sporty look on the Omega. I have to decide which one to get first, haha! I went to a local AD to try on the Omega (There were stocks for the Omega, but not the Tudor) and boutique for the Tudor. I've heard Omega usually do discounts but not the Tudor.

Tudor vs Omega? Conclusively, while Tudor is by no means a low-tier brand, it simply has not reached Omega’s level yet. While Omega competes with the Patek Phillipe and Rolex brands, Tudor hasn’t entered that league of luxury watches. Whether it be popularity, design, or what’s under the hood, Omega beats Tudor by a long margin in some . Materials and Construction: Both Nomos and Junghans prioritize high-quality materials in their watches. They predominantly utilize 316L stainless steel for their cases and bracelets, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance.
